Orphan Doll Cabinet

Inspired by the Alice in Wonderland quote “off with the heads” our collection of old baby dolls turned into a series of cabinets with a sliding drawer. We call this series the Orphan Doll Cabinet.

The boxes come in extra small (15 cm x 17,5 cm x 15 cm), small (17,5 cm x 20 cm x 17,5 cm), medium (20 cm x 25 cm x 20 cm) and large (25 cm x 30 cm x 25 cm) and are made of osb or birch plywood). The total width of the cabinets can differ, because (just as in real life) one has a bigger head than the other, not to mention that one’s legs are way longer than others.

All cabinets are finished with a matt lacquer. The birch plywood ones gets a coloured belly (the inside of the drawer). The Orphan Doll Cabinet is secured to the wall with a French cleat; one mounted to the wall and the other already on the cabinet. Once the cleat is secured to the wall, you can easily hang the cabinet on it.

Use it as a nightstand, a jewellery cabinet, storage for markers and pencils above your desk or any other storage solution. Hang the Orphan Doll Cabinet wherever you want or pair them, because they have been alone long enough!
